/tellraw and /title Command Generator
Add one or more text segments with color and style, optionally a click action and hover tooltip, pick a target and a command type — the tool assembles the full console or command-block line right away.
How we calculate
Every text segment in Minecraft is its own JSON object with a "text" field and optional color/bold/italic/underlined/strikethrough/obfuscated flags. Several segments in a row are simply combined into a list — the game renders them as one line with no gap between them unless you type a space yourself.
Java 1.21.5 renamed the click and hover event fields: clickEvent/hoverEvent became click_event/hover_event, and the keys inside some of the actions changed too — a link now lives in a "url" field instead of the shared "value" field, for instance. The version switch at the bottom of the form handles this automatically, so both versions still produce an equally valid command string.
The target (e.g. @a or @p) and the command type itself (tellraw / title / subtitle / actionbar) do not depend on the JSON version — only the contents inside the curly braces change. For title you can also set the fade-in, stay and fade-out time in game ticks (20 ticks = 1 second); the usual defaults are 10/70/20.

Questions and answers
What is the difference between clickEvent and click_event?
They are the same feature under two names from different game versions. Before Java 1.21.5 the field was called clickEvent and had one shared "value" parameter used by every action. Since 1.21.5 it was renamed to click_event, and some actions got their own parameter name instead — a link now lives in "url" and a command in "command", for example. The version switch in the generator picks the right one automatically.
Why didn't my tellraw command work in chat?
The most common cause is that your server version does not match the JSON version selected in the generator. Try switching "Java 1.21.5+" to "Java 1.13–1.21.4" (or the other way around) and copy the command again. The second common cause is missing operator permissions (rcon/OP) needed to run /tellraw or /title at all.
Can I insert a line break in the text?
Yes — a \n sequence inside the text field is rendered by the game as a new line. That is standard behavior for Minecraft text components, and the generator escapes it automatically, so you don't need to type anything special yourself.
What do the fade-in/stay/fade-out numbers mean for /title?
They are game ticks: 20 ticks equal 1 real-time second. The game's usual defaults are 10 ticks to fade in (0.5s), 70 ticks to stay (3.5s) and 20 ticks to fade out (1s) — those are the values pre-filled by default.
Do all the click actions behave the same way?
No. "Run a command" executes the command immediately as the player, "Suggest in chat box" only fills the chat input without sending anything, "Copy to clipboard" copies the given text to the player's system clipboard, and "Open a link" opens the URL in a browser outside the game.
