Villager Trades (Java Edition)
Pick a profession and level, or search by item name — the table shows what the villager wants and what it gives in return, and the planner below totals the emeralds for the trades you pick.
How we calculate
At each level (Novice…Master), a villager offers two random trades from its pool — or all of them if the pool has fewer than two. Prices in the table are base prices: the actual in-game price drops with village popularity and after curing a zombie villager, and rises when the villager next restocks (up to twice a day), based on how many times that trade was bought since the previous restock.
The "Receive" column is what the villager gives you, and "Pay" is what it wants in return (usually emeralds, sometimes plus a second item). "Uses" is how many purchases are available before the villager needs to restock at its job site; "XP" is how much experience the villager gains from one trade.

Questions and answers
Why isn't the Wandering Trader on this list?
This reference covers the 13 regular job-site professions, and all of them — including the Toolsmith and Weaponsmith — are here. The Wandering Trader works under different rules (nine random trades with no level structure) and is intentionally left out.
Why does the in-game price differ from the table?
The table shows the base price of the first purchase. The real price updates when the villager next restocks (up to twice a day), based on how many times that trade was bought since the previous restock, and it drops if the villager lives in a popular village or you just cured it from being a zombie. The planner doesn't know any individual villager's state.
What does "Uses" mean in the table?
How many times you can make that purchase before it locks. A villager restocks its trades (up to twice a day) when it reaches its job site block.
Does the planner account for enchanted books or other variable-price trades?
Yes, but it uses the lowest possible base price, flagged "price varies" — the real cost depends on the random enchantment rolled and can be higher.
Do the filters survive if I share the link?
Yes — the chosen profession, level, and both search fields are written into the URL, so the link reopens the page with the same filters.
