RDR2 Cigarette Cards Checklist
Track your collected Story Mode cigarette cards across all 12 sets — progress is calculated automatically and saved in your browser.
How we calculate
Cards turn up as world pickups across the whole Story Mode map, and also at random inside Premium Cigarettes packs sold at tobacconists. There are 12 sets of 12 cards each. We do not list an exact pickup spot for every single card (that would amount to mapping all 144 locations) — only the card list and your progress on it.
Each completed set can be mailed to Phineas T. Ramsbottom for an in-game item and money (shown next to the set name). A handful of cards across different sets will not spawn in the world at all until you accept the side mission "Smoking and other Hobbies" — those cards are flagged separately.
Progress is saved locally in your browser (localStorage). The "Get progress code" button shows a short string — copy it with "Copy code" and paste it into the "Apply code" field on another device. The "Copy link" button gives you a link carrying the same code in the ?p= parameter, which loads that progress straight away; your browser's address bar itself never changes on its own.

How many cigarette cards are there in Red Dead Redemption 2?
144 cards total, grouped into 12 themed sets of 12 cards each (Story Mode).
What do I get for finishing a set?
Any completed set can be mailed to Phineas T. Ramsbottom for an in-game item plus money — the exact reward is shown next to the set name. On top of that: a Vintage Civil War Handcuffs for your first completed set (any one), and another $200 once all 12 sets are done.
Why do some cards only show up later?
A handful of cards across different sets physically will not appear in the game until you accept the side mission "Smoking and other Hobbies" (a Stranger task from Phineas T. Ramsbottom). One card ("Robin Koninsky", Stars of the Stage set) unlocks differently — by watching every show at the Saint Denis theatre.
Is this Story Mode progress or Red Dead Online?
Story Mode only. Red Dead Online has its own separate collectible system, which is not tracked here.
How do I move my progress to another device?
Press "Get progress code", copy the short string with "Copy code", and paste it into the "Apply code" field on another device — or press "Copy link" and send the ready-made link carrying your code in the ?p= parameter.
