ARC Raiders Crafting Calculator: materials, "I already have" and recycle

Pick what you want to craft — the calculator expands the recipe down to base materials, accounts for what is already in your inventory, and shows what each attachment breaks down into.

What is covered, and what is not

The dataset is 173 items and 132 recipes (expanded 2026-09-17 from an initial 20/11): all 156 pages in the wiki's "items with a recipe" category, minus 24 weapon pages. That covers the Refiner/Gunsmith component chain, attachments (grips, compensators, barrels, magazines, silencers, stocks), consumables and healing, grenades/traps/mines, ammo, shields, Combat/Looting/Tactical Augments Mk.1–3, and utility/gadgets — plus 41 base raw materials. NOT included: workbench tier upgrades themselves (the wiki treats this as a location property, not a separate craftable item — no standalone recipe page was found) and weapons. Weapons are excluded, but not because they "have no recipe" — they DO have a Tier I recipe — Tier II–IV are modelled by a different wiki template (upgrading an item you already own, not crafting a new one) and are already fully covered by the separate DamageCalculator tool on this same site.

The source shows an identical recipe (2× Steel Spring + 2× Mechanical Components, Refiner 2) for two different items — Mod Components and Advanced Mechanical Components. This is not a calculator bug: both wiki pages were checked separately, and neither redirects to the other.

What to craft

Basket

Basket is empty — pick an item above.

    What you need to craft

Intermediate items (also need crafting at their own stations)

      Base materials (raw, not craftable)

        I already have

Enter how much of each material you already hold — the "missing" list works out the difference.

        What is missing

Breakdown and "is it worth keeping?"

          How we calculate

A recipe expands recursively: if an ingredient is itself a craftable item (for example Mechanical Components), the calculator expands its recipe too, all the way down to raw materials like Metal Parts or Duct Tape that are not crafted from anything. Quantities scale: needing two Angled Grip III doubles every ingredient at every level.

The "I already have" field simply subtracts your inventory from the final raw-material list — anything you already have enough of drops off the "missing" list. Recycle/salvage is separate: not every item has a breakdown section in the source, and the calculator says "cannot be broken down" plainly instead of staying silent or inventing a number.

          Questions and answers

Is this the full ARC Raiders item catalog?

No. The calculator covers a verified slice — 173 items and 132 recipes: every wiki page with a crafting recipe except the 24 weapon pages. Weapons and workbench upgrades themselves are left out — not because weapons were forgotten (they DO have a Tier I recipe), but because weapon Tiers II–IV are modelled by a different wiki mechanism and are already fully covered by the separate DamageCalculator tool on this same site, and no standalone recipe page for workbench upgrades was found on the wiki. Every recipe is checked against its own source page individually, never guessed by analogy.

Why do some items not have a "breakdown" section?

Breakdown data now exists for 148 of the 173 items — checked with a direct fetch of the source page for each one. For the remaining 25, the source page simply has no Recycling & Salvaging section at all (or it plainly says "no"/cannot be broken down). The calculator states this plainly instead of showing an empty or invented result.

Why do Mod Components and Advanced Mechanical Components share a recipe?

That is what the source itself shows: two different wiki pages (checked — neither redirects to the other) list an identical recipe of 2× Steel Spring + 2× Mechanical Components via Refiner 2. This is recorded as a confirmed quirk of the source, not merged into one item or corrected on our own judgment.

How is "what is missing" calculated if I already have some materials?

The calculator first expands the full recipe down to raw materials, then subtracts the quantity you entered for each one. Anything you have enough of simply drops off the list — the counter never goes negative.
