ARC Raiders workbench upgrades: how many materials are left

Enter the current and target level for each hideout station — the calculator totals the materials needed for every upgrade you picked, subtracts what you already have, and shows exactly what is missing.

Which stations are covered, and which are not

The data covers 7 hideout stations: Workbench (level 1 only, granted free after one round played — no paid upgrade beyond it) and six stations with levels 1-3 — Gunsmith, Gear Bench, Medical Lab, Explosives Station, Utility Station, Refiner.

The Scrappy companion and the Stash are deliberately NOT included: both appear on the same wiki page, but they are different game systems (companion leveling and storage capacity), not crafting or gear-upgrade stations.

Data comes from the "Workshop" page on arcraiders.wiki (CC BY-SA 4.0), as of 2026-09-17; level-1 materials for each station were cross-checked against arctracker.io/hideout, levels 2-3 only against the wiki.

The data source (the Workshop wiki page) was last edited 2026-08-22 — EARLIER than the latest patch we found, 1.46.0 from 2026-09-15. We checked the patch notes of the last four updates for station mentions and found none, but that is not proof nothing changed, so this notice is shown plainly rather than hidden.

How we calculate

Every hideout station has its own ladder of levels, each with its own material list. The calculator takes the difference between your current level and the chosen target for each station separately, sums materials only for levels not yet reached, and merges everything into one shared list by material name — the same Metal Parts from different stations is counted together.

The "already have" field simply subtracts the amount you enter from the total list — anything you already hold enough of drops off the "still needed" list. State (levels and inventory) is saved both in the link and in the browser: a broken or foreign link never breaks the page — it falls back to the default state and shows a visible hint, never a blank screen or NaN.

Questions and answers

Why does the Workbench have no upgrade levels?

Both the source (arcraiders.wiki) and the cross-check on arctracker.io/hideout show this: the Workbench unlocks for free after one round played and has no paid ladder of levels, unlike the other six stations. This is not a data gap — it is a verified property of the station.

Are Scrappy and the Stash included here?

No, deliberately. Both appear on the same "Workshop" wiki page, but they are separate game systems — companion leveling and storage capacity, not a crafting or gear-upgrade station. The exclusion is stated plainly above, not hidden.

How fresh are these numbers?

The data comes from a wiki page whose last edit predates the newest patch we could find. We checked the patch notes of the last four updates for hideout-station mentions and found none, but the absence of a mention is not a guarantee nothing changed, so a possible-staleness notice is shown right on the page rather than hidden.

What happens if I follow an old or corrupted link?

A level value outside a station’s range, or a non-integer value, never breaks the page or shows NaN — the calculator falls back to the default state for exactly those stations and shows a visible hint naming them. The hint clears itself as soon as you change any level yourself.

Does the calculation include materials I already spent on earlier levels?

No — only materials for levels BETWEEN your current progress and the chosen target are counted. A level you already reached is never counted again.
