There is exactly one official source on Lucia Caminos — the People section of Rockstar’s Only in Leonida page. It is a short bio card, and everything that can be stated about the character without guessing fits inside it and the official game description.

Below is that bio retold in our own words. We do not reprint Lucia’s own quoted line from Rockstar’s page — it is worth reading in the original at the link above.

What is officially said

The bio frames Lucia as someone for whom fighting is not a metaphor but a literal way of surviving since childhood.

  • Her father. Her father taught Lucia to fight from the moment she learned to walk. The bio’s wording leaves little room for another reading: fighting entered her life before almost anything else did.
  • Prison. Lucia served time at Leonida Penitentiary. She ended up there, according to the official description, over a fight — she was defending her family. The reason is stated outright, not implied: this is not random violence but defending people close to her.
  • Release. She got out through a twist of circumstance, not through a plan. In other words, leaving prison was not the result of her own strategy but something that happened to her.
  • Family and Liberty City. Her mother dreamed of a better life going back to when the family lived in Liberty City. That dream predates Lucia’s current circumstances — the family has carried it a long time and, per the bio, never achieved it.

That is the entire official outline of her past. Rockstar names no age, no parents’ names, and no exact length of time she spent behind bars.

Who she is connected to

Lucia’s most important official connection is to the game’s other protagonist.

Jason Duval. Rockstar describes life with Jason as a possible way out for Lucia. The wording is careful: not a promise, only a possibility — the same path that is officially described, for Jason, as either the best or the worst thing that could happen to him. We covered Jason himself in a separate piece on Jason Duval.

Her father and mother. These are the only relatives the bio mentions, and Rockstar gives no names for either. Her father appears as the source of Lucia’s fighting skills, her mother as the source of the dream of a different life. Both shape where Lucia starts from, even before the events of the game itself.

The official game description names Jason and Lucia specifically as the protagonists. The other characters on the Only in Leonida page are supporting cast, not characters on their level. We covered the full list in a separate piece on GTA 6’s characters.

What is officially NOT said about her

This section matters more than the one above, because this is where rumors usually start.

  • Voice actress. Not named. Rockstar had not named a voice actor for any GTA 6 character as of 14 August 2026.
  • Whether the player switches between characters. Not officially described. Both being named protagonists does not automatically mean free switching — Rockstar has not explained the mechanic.
  • Role in the story. It is known that Lucia and Jason end up inside the same events, but which of them drives the story, whether they have separate storylines, and how it all ends — none of that is officially said. We put together the full picture of what is known about the plot in our piece on GTA 6’s story.
  • Age, exact sentence length, parents’ names. None of these have been given.
  • Whether she gets out for good. The bio only says life with Jason is a possible path, not a guarantee. Officially, there is nothing about how it turns out.

If you come across text with a specific age for Lucia, an actress’s name, or a description of how her story ends, it did not come from Rockstar’s official pages.

Context: when and where

GTA 6’s release date is 19 November 2026. The confirmed platforms are PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S; Rockstar has not announced a PC version. Like Jason, Lucia will first be seen by current-generation console owners — more on that in our piece on GTA 6’s platforms.

The fact that Lucia and Jason are officially named as the game’s protagonists, rather than simply characters among others, is the frame everything above should be read through. It signals the scale of her role, but not the details — scale and detail are not the same thing, and Rockstar has so far only revealed the first.

What to check next

The bio on Only in Leonida is a starting point, not the final word. Rockstar’s extended gameplay showcase should provide material that is currently missing: how Lucia looks in motion, how she sounds, how her part of the gameplay is built. Until then, any claim about her that is not in the card above has no evidence behind it.

We will update this piece as soon as Rockstar publishes new official information about Lucia, and we will mark exactly what changed.
