ARC Raiders system requirements and supported platforms
Contents
Before installing ARC Raiders, it’s worth checking three things: whether your PC can handle it, whether it’s on your console of choice, and whether you need an extra subscription for online play. Every figure below comes from the official Steam, Xbox Store, and PlayStation Store pages.
Platforms and storefronts
- PC — Steam and the Epic Games Store.
- PlayStation 5 — the game’s official PlayStation Store page confirms PS5 Pro support (PS5 Pro Enhanced) and DualSense controller support; there is no PlayStation 4 version.
- Xbox Series X|S — the Xbox Store page marks the game as “Optimized for Series X|S” and confirms cross-platform multiplayer between Xbox, PlayStation, and PC.
- Cloud — the game is available through GeForce NOW, per the official website.
Minimum and recommended PC requirements
Per the Steam page:
- Minimum: Windows 10 64-bit, Intel Core i5-6600K or AMD Ryzen 5 1600, 12 GB of RAM, a GeForce GTX 1050 Ti / Radeon RX 580 / Intel Arc A380 graphics card, DirectX 12.
- Recommended: Intel Core i5-9600K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600, 16 GB of RAM, a GeForce RTX 2070 / Radeon RX 5700 XT / Intel Arc B570 graphics card, DirectX 12.
Steam does not separately list a disk space figure as of this page’s last check — if that number appears officially, we’ll add it here.
Online subscriptions on consoles
ARC Raiders is a multiplayer game, so on consoles you’ll need more than just the game itself:
- PlayStation 5. The official PlayStation Store page states that online play requires an active PS Plus Essential subscription.
- Xbox Series X|S. The Xbox Store page states that multiplayer features require Xbox Game Pass Core or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
This is a standard requirement across most online games on these platforms, not something specific to ARC Raiders — but without it, you won’t be able to launch a raid with friends on console.
Interface language and voiceover
The Steam page for the game lists 13 officially supported languages: English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, and Turkish. We checked this list directly on the store page: Ukrainian is not among them, while Russian is fully supported, for both interface and voiceover.
Players who prefer Ukrainian will need to play in English or another supported language — no official Ukrainian localization has been announced as of this article’s publication date.
What is officially NOT said
- The exact download size in gigabytes is not listed on the official pages we checked.
- Minimum requirements specifically for ray tracing or other graphics modes aren’t broken out separately — only the general DirectX 12 profile is given.
- Plans to add a Ukrainian localization are neither announced nor ruled out officially — it’s simply an absent entry in the current language list.
- Requirements for the GeForce NOW cloud version (minimum internet speed, etc.) aren’t described separately on the official pages.
Where this matters for the rest of the game
Your platform and interface language affect how easily you’ll navigate the in-game terminology around trading, gear, and progression. More on those systems in our pieces on gear and loot and progression and the workshop. A rundown of what changed in the latest updates is in our piece on recent updates.
