Can my PC run GTA 6
Pick your graphics card, processor and memory to get a rough verdict on every component. No official GTA 6 system requirements exist.
How we calculate
Rockstar has published no GTA 6 system requirements and has not announced a PC version at all — as of 18 August 2026 only the consoles are confirmed. So the only honest way to say anything about your PC is extrapolation, and that is exactly what we show you, not "requirements".
The anchors are two official Rockstar Support pages: the minimum and recommended requirements of GTA V Enhanced (the 2025 re-release, not 2015 Legacy) and those of Red Dead Redemption 2. Every card and processor in our database is graded 0-5 so that the recommended GTA V Enhanced configuration — an RTX 3060 and a Core i5-9600K — lands exactly on class 3.
From there the comparison is mechanical: the class of your card and processor, how much system and video memory you have, and what kind of drive. The overall verdict equals the worst component, not the average — it is the weak link that decides how the game runs. If the card and the processor are two classes apart or more, we flag the mismatch separately.

Questions and answers
Are there official GTA 6 system requirements?
No. As of 18 August 2026 Rockstar has published neither system requirements nor a PC announcement — only the console versions are confirmed. Any site showing you "official GTA 6 requirements" is showing you somebody’s guess.
Where do the hardware classes come from?
The specifications — memory size, core count, release year — come from the manufacturers’ own pages at NVIDIA, AMD and Intel, and every row in the database carries its link. The 0-5 class, however, is our own editorial rating, pinned to the GTA V Enhanced requirements. We did not use TechPowerUp or PassMark.
My graphics card is not in the list — what now?
Choose "not in the list" and then the closest model of the same generation by class. We do not issue a verdict blind: saying "we do not know" is better than substituting a random number.
Why does the tool not detect my hardware automatically?
The browser does not report your exact graphics card. The signals that do exist — a WebGL extension and the memory and core counters — are fingerprinting surface, and we deliberately leave them alone. Choosing by hand is more accurate and collects nothing about you.
Why is a hard drive flagged as a bottleneck?
That is an assumption, not a requirement. GTA V Enhanced already asks for 105 GB on an SSD, and for a 2026 game we treat an HDD as a risk. If Rockstar publishes requirements and allows an HDD, we will correct this.
