GTA 6 FPS estimate for your graphics card

Pick a graphics card, a resolution and a preset, and we will show a rough frame-rate range. This is not a benchmark: the game is not out.

Choose a graphics card to get an estimate.

This is neither a benchmark nor official requirements: Rockstar has announced no GTA 6 system requirements, and no PC version at all.

The hardware class ("tier") is GameMapa’s own editorial rating on a 0-5 scale, not a benchmark. The anchors are the official minimum and recommended requirements of GTA V Enhanced. Specifications (memory, cores, year) come from the manufacturers’ own pages; TechPowerUp and PassMark were not used.

How we calculate

GTA 6 benchmarks do not exist — the game has not shipped and the PC version has not even been announced. So not a single measured frame-rate figure exists anywhere, and we do not pretend otherwise: what you see is a range derived from the class of your card.

The hardware classes are the same ones used by the configuration check, and the database is shared: class 3 is pinned to the recommended GTA V Enhanced configuration (an RTX 3060). For every "class × resolution × preset" combination the table holds a pair of numbers — a lower and an upper bound. We never print a single number: its precision would be invented.

The processor acts only as a ceiling. If its class sits more than one step below the card’s, the top of the range is cut and a "the processor is the limit" line appears — in that pairing it is the processor that caps the frames. A processor stronger than needed adds no frames, so it never moves the estimate up. For integrated graphics we show no range at all.

Questions and answers

Are these real FPS measurements?

No, and they never were. GTA 6 has not shipped, the PC version has not been announced, and there is nothing to test. The range is extrapolated from the card’s class and the GTA V Enhanced anchors — it is an estimate, and we label it as one.

Why a range instead of a single number?

Because a single number would imply precision we do not have. Real frame rates depend on the scene, the driver, the settings and the game’s own optimisation, which nobody has seen yet. The range is at least ±20 % wide around its midpoint, and that is more honest than a tidy figure.

How does the processor affect the estimate?

In one direction only — downwards. If the processor is clearly weaker than the card, we cut the top of the range: in that pairing it becomes the limiting part. A processor stronger than needed adds no frames, so it never pushes the estimate up.

Why is there no range for integrated graphics?

Because any number there would be invented. Integrated graphics are not built for a game of this scale, and instead of a range we say so plainly.

What changes once Rockstar publishes requirements?

We will recalculate the scale from the official anchors and replace the "estimate" label with real requirements wherever they exist. The date the data was last checked is always shown on the page.
