PalWorldSettings.ini generator
Rates, death penalty, base and guild limits, PvP, server password and ports — all in one PalWorldSettings.ini line, without hand-editing keys one by one.
How we calculate
The form below is grouped the same way the real server settings are: rate and exp multipliers, difficulty, raids and base limits, multiplayer/PvP, server details (name, password, ports, RCON, REST API), and the remaining small toggles. Every field has its own plain-language label — not a copy of the official description — along with its default and allowed range.
Three presets (Default / Casual / Hardcore) instantly load a typical set of values into the form, which you can then fine-tune by hand. The "Copy" and "Download .ini" buttons use the form’s current state — exactly what is shown on screen, with nothing hidden.
The import section accepts a pasted existing PalWorldSettings.ini: the tool recognizes the keys it knows and fills them into the form, while any other keys from your file (the game has more of them than this form covers) are kept untouched and written back into the output line — nothing from a real file gets lost.

Questions and answers
Does the form cover every Palworld server setting?
Yes. The form covers all 118 OptionSettings keys from a dedicated server’s standard DefaultPalWorldSettings.ini. The full ordered list of those 118 keys was cross-checked against the PalWorldSettings.ini.template from the thijsvanloef/palworld-server-docker server container — a third-party project, not Pocketpair (MIT license, commit 644347f5, 2026-07-10) — used only as a reference for the key list and order, not as a source for their default values. If Pocketpair adds new keys in a future game update, the form will still preserve them unchanged when you import an existing file, even before it can show them in the UI.
Do new settings apply immediately to a world that already exists?
Not for most parameters. After the first launch, the server saves these values into WorldOption.sav and afterwards mostly ignores the .ini for that same world. To reliably apply new values, the simplest route is a new world.
Is it safe to paste a password into this form?
Everything runs in your browser: field values are never sent to any server and never enter the shareable state link. As with any password, though, don’t paste it on someone else’s or a public device.
What exactly do the Casual and Hardcore presets do?
Each preset loads a pre-picked set of values (rates, death penalty, damage, and so on) over the defaults — and shows the whole set right away, so you see exactly what will end up in the output line and can still fine-tune it by hand.
Where does the key list and its defaults come from?
Names and descriptions are our own wording based on Pocketpair’s official documentation. Default values for ~68 of the 118 keys are confirmed by the open palworld.wiki.gg table (CC BY-SA 4.0). For the remaining ~54 keys not covered by that table (including RESTAPIEnabled/RESTAPIPort, sourced from hosting provider G-PORTAL’s guide, and ~52 others sourced from the third-party community script compile-settings.sh of the thijsvanloef/palworld-server-docker project), the default comes from the best available source, which is NOT a confirmed default of the game itself; such fields are flagged in the data as defaultSource="thirdparty" — full list in ../data/SOURCES.md.
