The most common PUBG achievement covered here is “Blood on My Hands”: 64.7% of game owners have it, and all it requires, per the official description, is killing a player by any means. The rest of the “mass” achievements work the same way — they record things that happen naturally while you’re just playing.

Below are the PUBG achievements with the highest unlock rates, grouped by what their requirement is about. For each one, I’ve paraphrased the developer’s official description and noted what the percentage tells us. Where the description doesn’t explain how exactly to meet the condition, I say so directly instead of inventing instructions.

Where to check your own progress

Steam shows achievements in two different places, and it’s easy to mix them up.

  1. Your personal achievements. Open your Steam library, go to the PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS page, and find the achievements section. It lists what you’ve unlocked and what you haven’t. The same information appears in your Steam profile’s achievements section for this game — as long as your profile and game details aren’t set to private.
  2. Global statistics. A separate Steam page for the game shows what share of all owners have unlocked each achievement. Every percentage in this article comes from that page. It knows nothing about your account — it’s about the community as a whole.

How to read the percentage

PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS has 37 Steam achievements in total. The percentage next to each one is the share of game owners who’ve unlocked it, as counted by Valve.

What follows from that:

  • A high percentage means low difficulty or a low entry bar. If more than half of everyone who’s ever bought the game has met a requirement, it’s almost certainly something that closes itself out during normal matches.
  • The denominator includes people who barely played. It counts every owner of the game, including those who launched it a couple of times and quit. That’s why even the simplest requirements never come close to a full percentage.
  • The percentage isn’t a difficulty rating from the developer. Krafton doesn’t label any achievement as “easy” or “hard” anywhere. The percentage is simply observed statistics, and it shifts over time.

Combat: first kills

The simplest and most common group. Both achievements are about the same thing — just a different count.

“Blood on My Hands” — 64.7%. The official description requires killing a player by any means. The method isn’t restricted: the description says “any means”, with no qualifiers about weapon, mode, or map.

“Devil Inside Me” — 49.9%. The same requirement, but for 10 kills, again by any means. Steam doesn’t specify whether they need to happen in a single match — the description says nothing about that, so neither do we.

The gap between these two achievements shows something fundamental about the player base: most people get their first kill, but noticeably fewer reach ten. That’s not about how hard the mechanic is — it’s about how many people stick around at all. If you’re still figuring out what to shoot with, start with our breakdown of PUBG’s weapon classes.

Gear and survival

Two requirements here are about what you do with items you’ve picked up, not about combat.

“Health Junkie” — 54.0%. The description requires filling the boost gauge to maximum using an energy drink and an overdose of painkillers. Exactly what the game counts as “maximum” and in what order you’re meant to use the items — the official description doesn’t say. Steam only gives the wording of the requirement, so there won’t be any “drink this many, then that many” advice here — those would be made-up numbers.

“You Complete Me” — 46.3%. The requirement is to wear a dead player’s clothing. The description doesn’t specify whose it has to be or how that player died.

Both achievements go unnoticed: you just pick something up and use it, and Steam records the fact. Tellingly, even these simple requirements aren’t met by half of all game owners — one more sign of how much the denominator dilutes the statistics.

Team play: allies and victory

This group requires other living people nearby — you can’t close these out on your own.

“Guardian Angel” — 52.5%. The requirement is to revive a knocked-down teammate. That means you need a team mode and a teammate who got knocked but not finished off.

“Fantastic Four” — 40.8%. The description requires winning a Chicken Dinner in Squads mode. This is the lowest percentage among the achievements covered here. Exactly what the game counts as a Chicken Dinner win and which match conditions it takes into account — the description doesn’t say. Steam sticks to the bare wording.

What this tells us: far more PUBG players have seen someone else get killed than have won a match in Squads themselves. We cover how the modes differ in our game modes overview, and your first win in our guide to your first Chicken Dinner.

Persistence: “Top 10”

“Top 10” — 34.4%. The requirement is to place in the top 10 ten times. This is the only achievement in this list that can’t be met in one lucky moment — it demands repetition.

That’s exactly why it has the lowest percentage here. The requirement isn’t technically hard — it’s long. A player who closes out “Top 10” definitely didn’t just pop in for a look.

Summary table

Achievement What the description requires % of players
Blood on My Hands kill a player by any means 64.7%
Health Junkie fill the boost gauge to maximum with an energy drink and a painkiller overdose 54.0%
Guardian Angel revive a knocked-down teammate 52.5%
Devil Inside Me kill 10 players by any means 49.9%
You Complete Me wear a dead player’s clothing 46.3%
Fantastic Four win a Chicken Dinner in Squads mode 40.8%
Top 10 place in the top 10 ten times 34.4%

The table is ordered by descending percentage, not by difficulty. Those are two different things, and they shouldn’t be confused.

What we don’t claim

⚠️ We’re deliberately leaving several things out here — and here’s why:

  • No step-by-step instructions. Steam’s official descriptions state the requirement, not the method. Anything that looked like “do this on this map, in this spot” would be invented.
  • No completion times. How many matches or hours “Top 10” or “Devil Inside Me” takes isn’t something the developer states.
  • No fan guides. We don’t paraphrase wikis, YouTube, or other people’s tips — only what the developer wrote on Steam.
  • The percentages aren’t fixed. This is live Valve data that shifts along with the player base. The figures in this article reflect what the statistics page showed at the time of writing.
  • Order isn’t a recommendation. We’re not suggesting achievements should be completed in this particular sequence.

In short

PUBG’s most common achievements record ordinary in-game actions: your first kill (64.7%), maxing out your boost (54.0%), reviving a teammate (52.5%). Check your own progress on the game’s page in your Steam library or in your profile, and find the global percentages on the achievement statistics page.
