GTA V exists in several parallel versions across different platforms, and pricing varies by storefront. Below is data gathered directly from the Rockstar Store purchase page, Rockstar’s support section, and the Steam store page.
Buying on PC through the Rockstar Store
- Price: 1,349.00 UAH. That’s the cost of the GTA V bundle for PC on Rockstar’s official store.
- What’s included. The purchase grants access to both GTAV Enhanced and GTAV Legacy at once — it’s a single bundle, not two separate purchases.
- Release date. The purchase page lists 14 April 2015, the date of the original game release.
Buying on Steam
- Price: $29.99. That’s the price specifically for GTAV Enhanced in US dollars, as shown on the Steam page.
- Steam release date: 4 March 2025 — the date the Enhanced version arrived on that storefront separately.
- Platform: Windows only. Steam shows no macOS or Linux support for this game.

Enhanced versus Legacy on PC
On PC there are two parallel versions of the game:
- GTAV Enhanced — the newer version with updated graphics.
- GTAV Legacy — the version that existed before Enhanced launched.

Console generations

What is officially not stated
- Console prices. The pages we checked show prices specifically for PC — there are no separate prices for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, or Xbox One in these sources.
- Regional discounts or sales. The listed Rockstar Store price is the base price at the time of checking, without accounting for possible temporary promotions.
- Nintendo Switch or mobile platform support. The sources we checked don’t mention these platforms at all.
- An exact date when Legacy-version support might end, if that’s ever planned — the pages we checked say nothing about it.
