GTA V Enhanced Steam Achievements: Part Five
Contents
The achievements in this part of the list have been unlocked by between 3.3% and 4.5% of Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced owners — they sit outside both the rarest and the most common tiers, in the zone where the percentage is already low but not extreme.
Below is exactly what each one requires according to its official Steam description, how to read that description, and where the concrete part ends and the developer’s joke begins. The original English names are kept as-is: that’s how they appear in the game and on Steam, and that’s what you need to search for.
Where to check your own progress on Steam
Before comparing yourself to anyone else, it helps to know what you’ve already unlocked.
- Open the Steam client and go to your library, to the Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced page.
- On the game page, find the achievements block. It shows how many of the game’s 77 achievements are already unlocked on your account.
- Click the block to expand the full list. Unlocked ones are listed separately from locked ones, each with the developer’s official description next to it.
- To see how many players worldwide have the same achievement, open the game’s statistics page on Steam Community: overall achievement percentages. Valve shows the share of the game’s owners who’ve unlocked each one there.
One detail that trips a lot of people up: the percentage on the statistics page is calculated against all owners of the game, not against people actively playing it right now. That means the denominator also includes accounts that launched the game once for half an hour and never came back. Because of that, even fairly accessible things can look rare.
Full table for this part
| Steam name | What the official description requires | Players |
|---|---|---|
| San Andreas Sightseer | Explore the whole of Los Santos and Blaine County | 4.5% |
| Location Scout | Visit every location in Director Mode | 4.2% |
| Elitist | GTA Online: all 3 Elite Challenges in The Doomsday Heist | 4.0% |
| Out of Your Depth | No stated condition — just a joke | 3.7% |
| Masterminds | GTA Online: all 3 Criminal Mastermind challenges in The Doomsday Heist | 3.7% |
| Kifflom! | Complete your “path to enlightenment” — or don’t | 3.5% |
| Close Shave | All Under the Bridge and Knife Flight challenges | 3.5% |
| TP Industries Arms Race | Buy the McKenzie Field Hangar and win the arms race | 3.4% |
| From Beyond the Stars | Collect and return all the spaceship parts | 3.3% |
The spread inside this block is narrow: the top and bottom values aren’t far apart. The practical takeaway is that ranking these achievements by difficulty using the percentage isn’t worthwhile. The gap here is more about how often a given thing crosses a player’s path than about how hard it actually is.
Map exploration and collectibles
San Andreas Sightseer — 4.5%, the most common in this group. The condition is worded broadly: explore the whole of Los Santos and the whole of Blaine County. Steam doesn’t specify what exactly counts as “explored” — whether it’s driving through, uncovering the map, or visiting some set list of points. The wording of the condition exists; the mechanic behind it doesn’t, and we won’t guess at it.
From Beyond the Stars — 3.3%, the lowest percentage in this part. The description is direct: collect all the spaceship parts and return them. How many parts there are, where they’re located, and who to return them to — Steam doesn’t say a word about any of that. This is a classic collectible-type achievement, and these usually sit at a low percentage: they demand not skill but a systematic sweep of the map.
Location Scout — 4.2%. The condition here belongs to a separate mode: you need to visit every location in Director Mode. That means this achievement doesn’t live in a regular playthrough but in a mode that a fair share of players never even open. Steam doesn’t list the locations.
Skill challenges
Close Shave — 3.5%. The only achievement in this block where the official description names two separate challenge groups at once: Under the Bridge and Knife Flight. You need to complete all of them, from both groups. How many there are and where they’re located isn’t stated in the description.
Out of Your Depth — 3.7%. This one’s a special case: the developer didn’t write a condition at all. In place of one, the description field has a joke about needing a bigger boat. That’s a reference, not an instruction. What exactly you need to do, Steam doesn’t say — and anyone confidently “explaining” the condition to you isn’t working from an official source.
Standalone single-player storylines
TP Industries Arms Race — 3.4%. The description has two parts: buy the McKenzie Field Hangar and win the arms race. The first part is concrete — it’s the purchase of a specific property. The second isn’t: what “winning the arms race” actually means and when the game registers the win, the official text doesn’t reveal.
Kifflom! — 3.5%. The description is tongue-in-cheek: complete your path to enlightenment — or don’t. Formally it’s a condition; in practice it’s a hint that this storyline has more than one ending. There’s no checkable instruction in the description, and Steam doesn’t add anything further.
GTA Online: two challenges from The Doomsday Heist
Two achievements in this block are explicitly flagged as multiplayer — their descriptions carry a GTA Online tag. Both are tied to the same content, The Doomsday Heist, and both require a full set of challenges rather than a single one.
| Name | Condition | Players |
|---|---|---|
| Elitist | All 3 Elite Challenges in The Doomsday Heist | 4.0% |
| Masterminds | All 3 Criminal Mastermind challenges in The Doomsday Heist | 3.7% |
What’s visible here without guessing: Masterminds has a lower percentage than Elitist, even though both relate to the same content and the same number of challenges. Why that’s the case has no official explanation, and we’re not going to invent one.
If you’re just getting into the online side of the game, it’s worth sorting out the basics first — there’s a separate guide on getting started in GTA Online.
What we’re not claiming
This is the most important section, and it’s short.
- We’re not giving step-by-step instructions. Steam provides the wording of a condition, not a walkthrough. Where the description explains nothing (Out of Your Depth, Kifflom!, part of TP Industries Arms Race), we say so plainly: there’s no condition in the official source.
- We’re not naming item counts, completion times, or coordinates. None of these numbers are published by either Rockstar Games or Steam’s statistics page.
- We’re not relaying fan wikis or video guides. They may well be accurate, but they’re not a primary source, and we don’t lean on them.
- The percentage isn’t a difficulty rating. It only shows what share of the game’s owners have unlocked the achievement. A low value is explained just as well by high difficulty as by players simply never reaching that content.
- Percentages aren’t frozen. The statistics page updates, and the values shift over time. The numbers in this piece are a snapshot from the same source we’re linking to.
How this fits into the rest of the list
The game has 77 achievements in total, and this piece covers only the middle of the scale. The extremes are covered separately: the rarest achievements and the most common ones. For the full picture across the whole list, see the achievements roundup, and the earlier parts of the detailed breakdown start with part one.
The game’s own official page sits on the publisher’s site, Rockstar Games: rockstargames.com/gta-v. That’s the primary source on the game itself; it doesn’t show achievement statistics — those live only on Steam.
In short
The achievements in this block sit between 3.3% and 4.5% unlock rate and fall into three types: map exploration and collectibles, sets of skill challenges, and two multiplayer challenges from The Doomsday Heist. Steam gives only the wording of the condition — where the description turns into a joke, there’s no official explanation of how to complete it.
Frequently asked questions
How many achievements does Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced have in total?
Seventy-seven. That number is visible on the game's achievement statistics page on Steam.
What does the percentage next to an achievement on the Steam page mean?
It's the share of the game's owners who've unlocked it. Valve counts it across every account that owns the game, not just people currently playing.
Why doesn't Steam explain how to complete an achievement's condition?
Because the achievement card only carries a short description written by the developer. Sometimes it's a clear condition, sometimes it's a joke with no specifics at all. Steam gives no hints, coordinates, or step-by-step instructions.
Which achievements in this part are multiplayer?
Elitist and Masterminds — both tied to GTA Online and to The Doomsday Heist. Their official descriptions carry a direct GTA Online tag.
Are these achievements hard?
You can only judge by the unlock percentage, and here it's on the low side — from 3.3% to 4.5%. But a low percentage means "few players have done this," not necessarily "this is difficult" — some conditions just take a lot of time.
Where can I check exactly which achievements I've already unlocked?
The Steam client's library page for the game has an achievements block listing unlocked and locked ones. Global percentages sit on a separate game statistics page in Steam Community.
