GTA 5 Enhanced Steam Achievements: Mid-Tier Rarity
Contents
Roughly one in five owners of GTA V Enhanced has unlocked these achievements — the percentages here sit between 15.6% and 23.5%. That’s the middle of the list: not the mass-awarded ones that go to nearly everyone within the first few hours, and not the record-holders for rarity either.
The game has 77 Steam achievements in total. Below is the first part of that “mid-tier” group: what the official description actually requires, and what the percentage does and doesn’t tell you.
First: where to check your own progress
Steam tracks two different things, and it’s easy to mix them up.
- Your personal progress. Open your Steam library, go to the Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced page, and find the achievements tab. It shows what’s already unlocked and what isn’t.
- Stats across all players. This is a separate public page for the game — Steam Community, GTA V Enhanced achievement stats. Every percentage in this piece comes from there. Valve shows what share of the game’s owners has unlocked each achievement.
One important nuance about the percentage: it’s calculated from owners, not active players. Plenty of accounts in people’s libraries bought the game and barely launched it. So a low percentage doesn’t always mean “hard” — sometimes it just means “not everyone gets around to this content.”
The official achievement names below are left in English, since that’s how they’re labelled both in the game and on Steam — search for them by the original name.

The breakdown below is grouped by what the condition actually is, not alphabetically.
Outside multiplayer: car customisation
Los Santos Customs — 21.0%. The official description requires fully modifying a vehicle. This is the only achievement on this list whose description doesn’t start with a GTA Online tag — every other description Steam shows here does.
What exactly counts as “fully” — which modification categories need to be done, and whether everything has to be maxed out — isn’t spelled out in the official description. Steam only gives the wording of the condition, and we’re not going to build a checklist on top of it: you’ll need to check directly at the workshop, against the list of options available for that specific car.
21.0% is a telling number precisely because the condition needs neither co-op nor a high rank. So this isn’t really about difficulty — it’s that most players simply never take a single car all the way through its full modification list.
GTA Online: progression and playing with others
Above the Law — 23.5%. The most common achievement on this list. Per the official description, the condition is reaching Rank 100 in GTA Online.
This is a pure accumulation reward — not for a specific action, but for overall time played. Rank in GTA Online grows from any activity that gives XP, so the official description doesn’t point to any particular “strategy” here. Rockstar doesn’t state how long this takes, and neither will we.
Crew Cut — 21.2%. The description requires completing a Job in GTA Online as a member of a Crew.
Technically this is the simplest condition on the whole list: be in a Crew and play one Job. But 21.2% shows just how many people play GTA Online solo or with random players, without formally joining a Crew.
If you’re just getting into multiplayer, the starting steps are covered separately — getting started in GTA Online.
GTA Online: heists
Three achievements here have descriptions Steam displays, and all three tie into heists.
Shot Caller — 21.6%. Per the official description, the condition is investing earned money into setting up a heist. So the reward goes not to whoever pulls off the job, but to whoever finances and preps it.
Can’t Touch This — 20.4%. The toughest wording in this group: complete a heist finale without taking any damage. Not “little damage” — none at all.
The percentage speaks for itself here: 20.4% against 21.6% for Shot Caller. The gap is small, which suggests that people who make it to heists at all mostly close out this condition too — sooner or later, over a few attempts.
Exactly how to minimise risk — tactics, crew setup, which finale to pick — isn’t explained in the official description. We’re not going to repeat someone else’s guide here: Steam only gives the condition.
Getting Started — 16.4%. The description requires setting up The Doomsday Heist in GTA Online. This is the lowest percentage among the achievements in this group that do have a description — which makes sense, since it’s tied to a whole separate content pack that fewer players reach. There’s a separate breakdown of how the extra content packs are structured — GTA 5 additional content.
Money for setting up heists has to come from somewhere, and that’s its own topic — how to earn money in GTA Online.
Achievements with no description on the Steam page
For the rest, the Steam statistics page shows the name and the percentage, but not the condition text. This isn’t an omission on our part, and these aren’t “secret” achievements — the description just isn’t present on that page.
| Achievement | Player percentage |
|---|---|
| Parole Day | 22.8% |
| Diamond Hard | 20.1% |
| The Data Breaches | 20.1% |
| A Friendship Resurrected | 18.7% |
| The Bogdan Problem | 17.8% |
| The Doomsday Scenario | 15.6% |
What this means in practice: you’ll see the condition in the game itself — the Steam client’s achievement list pulls the description from the game’s own data, even when the public statistics page doesn’t display it.
⚠️ What we’re not claiming. We don’t know which mode, mission, or update each of these six ties to — the names invite guesses, but a guess isn’t a fact. We’re not saying they’re connected to each other, not suggesting an order to tackle them in, and not rating their difficulty. The only thing verified here is the name and the percentage.
How to read the percentages in this list
A few honest limits on what this number actually tells you:
- Percentage ≠ difficulty. Crew Cut (21.2%) needs one Job played with a Crew, while Above the Law (23.5%) needs Rank 100. The second is obviously longer, yet it’s more common.
- Percentage ≠ current relevance. Valve counts across all owners over the game’s entire lifetime, not just people playing right now.
- A tenth of a percentage point doesn’t settle anything. Diamond Hard and The Data Breaches share the same 20.1% — that doesn’t make them related in any way.
The rarest achievements are covered in a separate piece — the rarest GTA 5 Steam achievements; for the full list overview, see the GTA 5 achievements guide.
In short
This part of the list covers GTA V Enhanced achievements with percentages between 15.6% and 23.5%: almost all of them tie into GTA Online (rank, crews, heists), and for six of them Steam shows no condition text at all — you’ll only see it in the game itself.
Frequently asked questions
How many achievements does GTA V Enhanced have in total?
77. That's the count shown on the game's Steam statistics page.
Where can I check which achievements I've already unlocked?
Open the game's page in your Steam library and go to the achievements tab — it marks what's unlocked and what isn't. A separate Steam statistics page shows the overall numbers across all owners of the game.
What does the percentage next to an achievement mean?
It's the share of the game's owners who've unlocked it. Valve calculates this across all owners, not just players who are currently active.
Does this list include any single-player campaign achievements?
Of the ones whose Steam description is shown, only "Los Santos Customs" carries no GTA Online tag — its condition is written as fully modifying a car. Every other description shown here starts with a GTA Online tag.
Why do some achievements have no description?
The Steam statistics page simply doesn't display text for some of them. We're not filling in a description ourselves — if Steam doesn't provide one, you'll see the condition in the game itself.
Are these the rarest achievements in the game?
No. This is the middle of the list — not the rarest, not the most common. The rarest ones are covered in a separate guide.
