In-game purchases. The listing carries the flag “In-game purchases optional”. Optional means the game can be completed without them, but the ability to spend money inside it exists.

2. Screen-time schedules — customisable for each day.
3. Pause screen time — a session can be stopped right now; the child sees a message that their screen time is up. There is a separate exception toggle for Minecraft.
4. Spending controls — ask-to-buy notifications, balance viewing, adding money, and spending history.
5. Friends and online — friend management via an ask-a-parent request, plus online multiplayer settings.

Two limits worth knowing in advance: the settings work on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One and extend to Windows PCs when the child signs in with their Xbox profile as part of the family group — but they do not extend to mobile gaming. There is no child version of the app: it is for parents only.
