Update 1.47.0 for ARC Raiders arrived on 2026-09-22 and consists almost entirely of fixes: doors, keyboard, inventory, lighting and item colours — there are no new zones or mechanics in the changelog. The only additions are cosmetics and an announcement for a showcase happening the following day.

The patch is called “Store Update 1.47.0”, and its notes are split into familiar sections: a message to players, headline points, then content and fixes, cosmetics, gameplay, maps (Buried City and Riven Tides separately), a general block and performance. Below is a step-by-step sequence: what to do after installing, in what order to check it, and how to tell that a specific change has actually reached you. For wider context, we’ve got a separate roundup of updates and patches.

1. Install version 1.47.0 specifically

First, make sure the build that downloaded is the right one, not the previous version. Everything described below applies only to build 1.47.0 — the official patch notes were published on 2026-09-22.

Step complete when the game client shows version 1.47.0 and the download isn’t stuck in the queue.

2. Check the Rawhide set headgear

There was a bug: the headgear from the Rawhide gear set stayed on the character even after you turned it off in customisation. The toggle should now work correctly.

Step complete when you open customisation, switch off the Rawhide headgear, and it disappears from the character model instead of staying put.

3. Check the keyboard after minimising the window

Keyboard input could fail in two situations: if the game launched without window focus, or if you returned to it from background mode. The patch is meant to guarantee that controls respond reliably once focus returns to the window. This is the kind of issue we cover in our guide to controls and accessibility.

Step complete when you minimise the game, work in another window, come back — and the character immediately moves on WASD without needing an extra click into empty space.

4. Look at doors from the side

Door blockers used to create a copy of their geometry on the opposite side from the direction they were applied to. It looked like an extra surface where there shouldn’t have been one.

Step complete when you see a single surface on both sides of a blocked passage, not two.

5. Check doors that “look open”

Separately, the team fixed a desync where doors sometimes appeared open to the player while actually being closed. The cost of that bug in a raid is obvious — you walk toward a passage that isn’t there.

Step complete when you walk through a door shown as open and don’t hit an invisible obstacle.

6. Move items around in your inventory

Trading and splitting items could dump something into an incompatible container — for instance, forcing an item that was never meant for quick use into a belt slot. Alongside that, protection against accessing the wrong inventory cells was added. If you’re still working out what goes where, start with gear and loot.

Step complete when trying to drag a non-quick-use item into the belt simply doesn’t go through, instead of creating a broken slot.

7. Enter Buried City and check visibility

Lighting in this location could look too dark or disappear entirely. The fix targets overall visibility there specifically.

Step complete when you can navigate inside Buried City without guessing at silhouettes, and dark areas look like intentional darkness rather than missing light.

8. Walk through Riven Tides

Here the team fixed visual glitches that occurred while moving through the location. The notes don’t give a specific list of these glitches — only that they were fixed. If you’re unsure where things are, check maps and locations.

Step complete when a full walkthrough of Riven Tides doesn’t produce any visual artefacts along the route.

9. Look at coloured objects in the world

Objects in the game were displaying the wrong colours. The patch restores the intended look for things like red lockers, toolboxes, office chairs, cars, crates and cargo containers.

Step complete when a red locker is actually red, not faded or tinted a different shade.

10. Play a long session and watch for stability

Item tooltips in the inventory were retaining data from previous screens. The result was memory usage climbing over time, and stability dropping during long sessions. This is the kind of change you can’t spot in five minutes.

Step complete when, after several raids in a row, the game behaves the same as it did at the start of the session, without stutter building up.

11. Grab the Riposta cosmetics

The new content in the patch is the Camo and White variants for the Riposta set. This is cosmetic — it has no effect on combat stats. What’s actually being sold and for what, we cover in our DLC and purchases guide.

Step complete when both Riposta set variants show up in the relevant section.

12. Mark 23 September and Expedition 5 registration

Separately, the developer announced the first Frozen Trail showcase for 23 September — the patch notes don’t reveal any details about the showcase itself, only the date. The second point is a reminder about Expedition 5 registration.

Step complete when you’ve marked the showcase date on your calendar and completed registration, if you’re planning to take part in the expedition.

What these notes don’t cover

Among the headline points there’s a mention of an update to fair-play work — but what exactly changed there isn’t stated anywhere in what’s available, so we won’t speculate on the details. Likewise, there are no weapon balance changes, economy adjustments or new enemies in the notes: everything in 1.47.0 is the fixes covered above plus the two Riposta set variants. If you were waiting for a big content patch, the nearest point on the calendar is the Frozen Trail showcase on 23 September, and we’ve got a separate piece on that.

Frequently asked questions

When did update 1.47.0 for ARC Raiders come out?

On 2026-09-22, via the developer's official channel. The full name in the patch notes is "Store Update 1.47.0".

Is this a major patch with new content?

No. The bulk of the notes is bug fixes and cosmetics. There are no new zones or modes in the changelog.

What did they fix with doors?

Two separate things. Door blockers no longer create a copy of their geometry on the opposite side, and separately, cases where doors appeared open even though they were actually closed have been fixed.

Why did my keyboard stop working?

There was a bug where keyboard input could fail after launching the game without window focus, or after returning from background mode. In 1.47.0, controls are meant to respond reliably once you bring focus back to the window.

What about the lighting in Buried City?

Lighting there could look too dark or disappear entirely. The patch fixes this, and visibility in the location has improved.

What's promised after this update?

The first Frozen Trail showcase on 23 September. The notes also include a reminder about Expedition 5 registration.
