The rarest achievement in ARC Raiders is “Enemy of My Enemy”: unlocked by 0.8% of players. That’s the lowest figure among all the game’s achievements according to Steam’s stats, and it sets the bar for what counts as rare in this game at all.

Below is a breakdown of the rare achievements: what the developer’s official description says, what it doesn’t say, and how to actually read that percentage. For an overview of the full list, see our guide to ARC Raiders Steam achievements.

Where to check your own progress

Steam shows achievements in two different places, and it’s easy to mix them up.

  1. Your personal progress. Open your Steam library, go to the ARC Raiders page — there’s an achievements panel marking what you’ve unlocked and what you haven’t.
  2. Overall stats across all players. This is a separate Steam community page for the game. Valve shows what share of ARC Raiders owners has unlocked each achievement. That’s where every percentage in this piece comes from.

The distinction matters: the first page answers “what have I missed,” the second answers “how rare is this, really.” The game has 50 achievements in total.

What the percentage actually means

Worth clearing up the most common misunderstanding right away. The percentage on the stats page is calculated from game owners, not from people actively playing. The denominator includes people who bought the game and launched it a couple of times, as well as people who never reached the relevant content at all.

So a low percentage is a mix of two different things: how hard the condition is, and how many people simply never got there. Steam’s data doesn’t let you separate the two. When you see “0.8%” below, it means exactly one thing: that share of game owners has the achievement marked. Not “this is how hard it is” — we’re not claiming that.

We’re keeping the achievement names in English — that’s how they’re labelled in the game and on Steam, and it makes them easier to look up in the original.

Fights against ARC machines

The most noticeable group among the rare achievements is the one tied to the machines themselves. For more detail on them, see our guide to ARC machine types.

A Tale for the Ages (8.0%) — the description is two words: destroy the Queen. This is a rare case where the wording is completely clear, but Steam doesn’t explain the “how” at all: no conditions, no hints about gear or preparation. We’re not going to invent them either.

Blindsided (6.9%) — destroy a Sentinel, specifically using the Raider Tool. There’s an important detail in the description here: what matters isn’t the kill itself, but the tool. Simply killing a Sentinel with regular weapons doesn’t satisfy the condition.

Hook, Line, and Sinker (11.6%) — use a Lure Grenade to make one drone attack another. The condition describes an outcome, not a method: the game wants a specific result from a specific item. Exactly how to line up two drones so it works isn’t covered by the official description.

The Raider Tool and interactions with other raiders

Up Close and Personal (17.2%) — knock out a raider using the Raider Tool. The most common achievement on our list, but still held by fewer than one in five game owners. Together with “Blindsided,” it points to a pattern: the Raider Tool shows up in descriptions as a distinct item with its own use cases — against machines and against other players alike. For more on what a raider carries in general, see our guide to gear and loot.

Enemy of My Enemy (0.8%) — the game’s rarest achievement, and also the one we know the least about. The Steam stats page shows only a name and a percentage for it; the developer gave no official description. So the honest summary is: the condition is unknown, and the percentage is the lowest on the list. We’re deliberately not guessing what it actually requires. If you’re curious about team play in the game, that’s covered separately in our guide to co-op and squads.

Side activities and experiments

This group is the strangest in substance — here the game rewards behaviour, not victories.

For Science! (2.0%) — inflict gas, stun, and burning status effects at the same time. The second-rarest achievement in the game, and it’s about getting hurt in a very specific way. The condition requires the states to overlap at the same moment. How to combine them, and from what sources, the description doesn’t say.

Most Durable Pants in Speranza (13.4%) — slide 80 metres without stopping. The key word here is “without stopping”: the distance has to build up in one continuous slide. Steam says nothing about terrain, location, or movement settings — just the distance and the continuity requirement.

Comparative Study (16.1%) — deal damage with 4 different weapon types in the Practice Range. The only achievement on the list that names an exact location for completing it: the training range. The condition is about weapon variety, not damage dealt.

Three achievements with no description

Worth calling out separately: the ones where Steam gives only a name — Enemy of My Enemy (0.8%), Just Dropping In (3.6%), and Death From Above (4.8%). All three sit at the bottom of the list by percentage.

The temptation to guess a condition from the name alone is strong here, and we’re deliberately not doing it. An achievement name is a joke or a nod from the developer, not a technical requirement. “Death From Above” could mean almost anything, and any explanation we offered would be a guess dressed up as a fact.

What we’re not claiming

  • We don’t give step-by-step instructions. For most of these achievements, Steam only gives the wording of the condition, not how to fulfil it. Steps, coordinates, location or mission names, completion times — none of that is in the official descriptions, and we’re not inventing it.
  • We don’t equate rarity with difficulty. The percentage measures prevalence, not difficulty. An achievement at 0.8% could be genuinely hard, or it could simply be tied to content few players ever reached.
  • We’re not relaying fan wikis or videos. Everything above comes from the official Steam stats page and nothing beyond it.
  • The percentages change. This is live Valve data — it gets recalculated over time, so the numbers above are a snapshot at the time of collection, not a constant. The studio posts news and game changes on its own site, arcraiders.com, and what’s changed in the game itself is covered in our guide to updates and patches.

In short

The rarest ARC Raiders achievement is “Enemy of My Enemy” at 0.8% of players, and Steam doesn’t even show its condition. For the rest of the rare achievements, the official descriptions give only the wording of the condition — not how to complete it.

Frequently asked questions

What's the rarest achievement in ARC Raiders?

"Enemy of My Enemy" — unlocked by 0.8% of players. That's the lowest percentage among the game's achievements on the Steam stats page.

How many achievements does ARC Raiders have in total?

The game has 50 Steam achievements. We call the "rare" ones those with the lowest unlock percentage according to Valve's official stats.

Where can I check which achievements I already have?

The ARC Raiders page in your Steam library has an achievements section showing your personal progress. Overall percentages across all game owners are on the community stats page for the game.

Why do some achievements have no description?

Because the developer didn't show one on the Steam stats page. That's the case for "Enemy of My Enemy," "Just Dropping In," and "Death From Above" — only a name and a percentage.

Does a low percentage mean an achievement is hard?

Not necessarily. The percentage is calculated across all game owners, not active players, so it's also affected by how many people simply never reached that content.

Can you get rare achievements playing solo?

Steam doesn't specify. The official descriptions never mention a mode, so we're not claiming any achievement does or doesn't require squadmates.
