Between half and two-thirds of ARC Raiders owners have these achievements — so this isn’t rarity, it’s stuff an ordinary player reaches naturally just by playing. Below is exactly what the official description of each one requires, and what the percentage actually tells you.

The game has 50 Steam achievements in total. This piece covers the middle of that list — not the rarest trophies, and not the ones that drop in your first half-hour. The rarest ones are covered separately in our guide to the hardest achievements, and the full list is covered in the ARC Raiders achievements hub.

Where to check your own progress

Steam shows achievements in two different places, and it’s easy to mix them up:

  1. Your personal progress. Open your Steam library, go to the ARC Raiders page, and find the achievements block. It shows what’s already unlocked and what isn’t. The same list is available on your profile, under that game’s achievements section.
  2. Global stats. This is a separate Steam Community stats page for the game. Valve shows the share of owners who’ve unlocked each achievement there. Every percentage in this article comes from that page.

The difference matters: one is about you, the other is about everyone. When someone says “this is a rare achievement,” they mean the second page.

What the percentage actually tells you

The percentage isn’t difficulty. It’s the share of game owners, not of people actively playing. The denominator includes everyone who bought the game and launched it twice.

So read the numbers this way:

  • Over two-thirds — almost everyone who actually plays meets this condition.
  • Around half — this is where people who played a few evenings and moved on start dropping out of the count.
  • A gap of a few tenths of a percent between neighbouring entries doesn’t mean much in practice.

Every achievement below falls between 51.0 % and 67.7 %. That tells you one thing: none of them is a test of endurance. They’re markers of a normal playthrough.

Raids, returns, and maps

The first group is about getting yourself back out.

Well-Traveled — 67.7 %. Official condition: return safely from Dam Battlegrounds, Buried City, and Spaceport. Visiting all three locations isn’t enough — you need to successfully extract from each one. This achievement is about breadth of routes, not depth: the game wants you not to camp on one map.

Into Thin Air — 67.7 %. Condition: return safely to Speranza via the Raider Hatch. Steam names a specific way out, and that’s where the description ends. Where exactly to find these hatches, how many there are, and how they differ from other extraction methods — the official text doesn’t say.

Both sit at the same percentage, which makes sense: once you’ve figured out the extraction mechanic, you tend to close out both around the same time. If the extraction mechanic itself isn’t clear to you yet, start with the first raid guide.

Fighting ARC machines

The second group is the most straightforward — it’s just a counter.

Achievement Condition Players
Racking Them Up destroy 50 ARC enemies 67.0 %
Trail of Destruction destroy 100 ARC enemies 58.1 %

The second is a direct continuation of the first, with the counter doubled. The gap between the percentages shows how many players stop somewhere along the way: the condition is identical in substance, but the difference is noticeable.

The description doesn’t specify enemy types, whether teammate assists count, or whether the kill has to come from your own shot. Steam only gives the condition’s wording — anything beyond that would be guesswork, and we don’t do that. There’s a separate piece on the enemies themselves: ARC machine types.

Gear, mods, and the workshop

The third group is about what you do between raids, not during them.

Well-Armed — 65.7 %. Condition: have two weapons of Tier II or higher in a round. The key word is “simultaneously” — both slots need to be filled to that level within the same round.

Bells and Whistles — 61.7 %. Condition: have 4 mods on a single weapon. Not four mods across your inventory, and not one each on different guns — exactly four on one.

Getting Serious — 61.3 %. Condition: upgrade the Workshop station to level 2. This is the first achievement in the list that isn’t about shooting at all — it’s about your base. The official description doesn’t list which stations exist or what each level unlocks.

Expert Weaponsmith — 57.4 %. Condition: upgrade a weapon to Tier IV. The lowest percentage in this subgroup — which makes sense, since the requirement sits at the top of the upgrade scale, not at the entry point.

There’s a clear pattern: the deeper into the progression system, the fewer players. From “I have two decent guns” to “I pushed one all the way to Tier IV” is a noticeable drop-off. We cover the logic of that system in the progression and workshop guide.

Loot: one-off and accumulated

The fourth group is economic, and it’s trickier than it looks.

The Big Haul — 54.6 %. Condition: return to Speranza with loot worth 50 000. This is a one-off event: everything has to be in a single run and make it back. Lose your backpack, and it doesn’t count.

The Long Haul — 51.0 %. Condition: reach 1 000 000 in total loot value across your entire time playing. This one works the other way — the counter accumulates and nothing resets it. It’s the lowest percentage in our entire list, and the reason isn’t difficulty, it’s time.

Exactly what counts toward “loot value,” what units it’s measured in, and whether trader prices affect it — the official description doesn’t explain.

Two achievements with no description

See You Never — 63.9 % and A Vendetta Is Born — 54.2 %.

Steam’s stats page doesn’t show condition text for either one. That means exactly what it says: we know the name and the percentage, and we don’t know the official wording. We won’t guess based on the name (“this is probably about some specific enemy”) — an achievement’s name isn’t its condition.

Both sit at fairly average percentages, meaning they get completed naturally during normal play. It’s a rare case where missing description isn’t actually a problem: most players got them without ever reading the condition.

What we’re not claiming

To avoid any confusion, here’s what this article deliberately doesn’t contain and can’t contain:

  • Step-by-step instructions. Steam gives you the wording of a condition, not a method for completing it. Where the relevant enemies spawn, how to rack up loot value faster, which route is more efficient — none of that is in the official description.
  • Completion times. How many hours any of these achievements takes — the developer hasn’t said.
  • A split between story and multiplayer. Steam doesn’t flag which achievements are story-related and which aren’t. None of the descriptions in this list names teammates as a requirement, but that’s not the same as “designed for solo.”
  • A recommended order. The grouping above is ours, based on the content of the conditions. The game doesn’t impose any order at all.
  • A link between name and condition for the two achievements without a description.

If you come across a guide with exact coordinates or an “optimal route,” that’s no longer official information — the only way to check it is to try it yourself in a raid.

In short

This part of the list covers achievements ranging from 51.0 % to 67.7 %: three maps plus a Raider Hatch extraction, kill counters at 50 and 100 ARC enemies, weapon and Workshop upgrades, a one-off 50 000 haul and a lifetime 1 000 000 total. Two of them — See You Never and A Vendetta Is Born — have no condition shown on Steam at all, and we’re not going to invent one.

Frequently asked questions

How many achievements does ARC Raiders have in total?

The game has 50 Steam achievements. This piece covers the part of the list that sits neither among the rarest nor the most common.

Where can I check which achievements I've already unlocked?

Open your Steam library, go to the ARC Raiders page, and check the achievements section on your profile — it shows what's unlocked and what isn't. Valve publishes overall stats for all owners of the game on a separate stats page.

What does the percentage next to an achievement mean?

It's the share of game owners who've unlocked it. For example, "Well-Traveled" sits at 67.7 % — meaning most owners have already met that condition.

Which of these achievements is the rarest?

In this group, the lowest percentage belongs to "The Long Haul" at 51.0 %. Even so, that means more than half of all owners have it.

Why do some achievements have no description?

Steam's stats page doesn't show a description for every achievement. "See You Never" and "A Vendetta Is Born" have no condition text listed there, so we don't know the official wording.

Do I need a squad to get these achievements?

None of the official descriptions in this list mention teammates as a requirement. That doesn't mean solo is the optimal route, though — Steam simply says nothing about it either way.
