Most Common ARC Raiders Steam Achievements
Contents
The most common achievement in ARC Raiders is “Rite of Passage”: 93.5% of owners have it, and there’s only one condition — return to Speranza safely for the first time. A handful of other achievements follow close behind with similarly high percentages, and all of them describe things a player does anyway during a normal raid: search containers, install a station in the workshop, shoot at an ARC machine, make it back alive.
Below are the ARC Raiders achievements with the highest unlock rate according to Steam, grouped by theme, alongside the official wording for each condition. We keep the original names in English, exactly as they’re labelled in the game and in the Steam client.
Where to check your progress on Steam
Your achievements are visible in two places, and neither needs a third-party site:
- Library. Open the ARC Raiders page in your Steam library — it has an achievements block showing what you’ve got and what’s left.
- Profile. Your Steam profile has an achievements section broken down by game, including the unlock date.
- Global stats page. This is the game’s overall stats page, where Valve shows the percentage of owners who’ve unlocked each achievement. It doesn’t show your personal progress — only the picture across all players.
The distinction matters: the first two answer “what do I have”, the third answers “how common is this”.
How to read the percentage
The percentage on the stats page is the share of game owners who have unlocked a specific achievement. It isn’t a direct measure of difficulty and it isn’t about skill — it’s about how many people have reached that point.
A very high figure usually means the condition sits right on the path of normal play — hard to avoid if you’re playing the game at all. A lower figure can mean a genuinely harder condition, a rarer situation, or simply that part of the player base has only run the game a handful of times. Steam doesn’t separate these causes, so neither will we: the percentage shows prevalence, not skill level.
ARC Raiders has 50 Steam achievements in total. The ones covered here sit at the top of that list by prevalence. If you’re after the opposite end, see the separate breakdown of the rarest achievements, and for the full list check the general achievements guide.
The core loop: head out, come back
Two of the most common achievements describe the same thing — returning to Speranza. That’s the basic action of the game, which is exactly why they sit at the top of the list.
| Achievement | Official condition | Players |
|---|---|---|
| Rite of Passage | Safely return to Speranza for the first time. | 93.5% |
| Not Over Till It’s Over | Safely return to Speranza while downed. | 70.9% |
Rite of Passage is literally your first successful return. The developer’s wording is “safely return to Speranza for the first time”, with no further requirements listed — nothing about loot, time, or map.
Not Over Till It’s Over describes the same action, but while downed — the return happens after your raider has already been knocked out. The Steam description only names this one condition and explains nothing about how you end up in that state. We won’t fill in the gap: the game gives a wording, not an instruction.
The gap between these two percentages is telling. Almost everyone makes it back on their first extraction, but returning while downed is a situation not everyone hits, and not right away. If you’re just starting out, the basics are covered in our first raid and extraction guide.
Loot, workshop and progression
The second group covers what players do between fights: searching containers, upgrading the workshop, levelling up, checking locked rooms.
| Achievement | Official condition | Players |
|---|---|---|
| Self-Sufficient | Install a station in your Workshop. | 83.7% |
| Scavenger | Search 50 loot containers. | 80.2% |
| In Your Element | Reach level 10. | 71.7% |
| Behind Closed Doors | Visit a locked room on Dam Battlegrounds, Buried City or Spaceport. | 71.0% |
Self-Sufficient asks you to install a station in your own workshop. The description doesn’t specify which station or what it takes — the condition is worded generally. For how the workshop works overall, see our progression and workshop guide.
Scavenger is the only one in this group with a clear counter: search 50 loot containers. It’s a cumulative condition that fills up on its own over a few raids.
In Your Element is tied to character level — the condition names level 10. The official description mentions neither how fast you’ll get there nor where the experience comes from, so any “how many hours this takes” claim would be invented, and we’re not making one up.
Behind Closed Doors asks you to visit a locked room at one of three named locations: Dam Battlegrounds, Buried City or Spaceport. Steam lists exactly these names and stops there — no detail on where the rooms sit or how to open them. For a general overview of locations, see our maps and locations guide.
Other raiders and ARC machines
The third group is about encounters — with other people, and with machines.
| Achievement | Official condition | Players |
|---|---|---|
| Mechanical Failure | Shoot a thruster off a Wasp. | 87.0% |
| The Friends We Made Along The Way | Return to Speranza together with an encountered Raider. | 82.3% |
| Crossed the Threshold | Knock out a Raider. | 79.4% |
Mechanical Failure is one of the most common achievements overall: shoot a thruster off a Wasp. The description names a specific machine and a specific part, but explains nothing about weapons, range, or tactics.
Next are two achievements that describe opposite reactions to meeting another raider. The Friends We Made Along The Way unlocks when you return to Speranza together with a raider you met during the raid. Crossed the Threshold is the reverse — it’s for knocking another raider out.
Interestingly, both scenarios are common, and the percentages sit close together: a large share of players have both teamed up with someone and fought someone else at some point. For more on playing with others, see our co-op and squads guide.
What we’re not claiming here
This part is worth reading carefully:
- We don’t give step-by-step instructions. Steam only publishes the wording of the condition. Where the description doesn’t explain how to complete it, we say so instead of inventing a method.
- We don’t give time estimates. Not how many hours a level takes, not how many raids the containers need. The developer hasn’t published figures like that.
- We don’t give coordinates or mission names. Locations are named exactly as they appear in the achievement description, and no further.
- The percentages reflect Steam’s current data, not a fixed value. They shift as new people buy the game, so treat the figures on this page as a snapshot, not a constant.
- We don’t repeat fan wikis or videos. There’s one source here — the official Steam stats page and the game’s own site.
In short
The most common ARC Raiders achievements track the game’s core loop: return to Speranza, search containers, install a station in the workshop, meet another raider. Steam only gives a condition and a percentage of players, so anything beyond that description stays out of this guide.
Frequently asked questions
What's the most common achievement in ARC Raiders?
"Rite of Passage" — 93.5% of players have unlocked it. The official condition: safely return to Speranza for the first time.
How many achievements does ARC Raiders have in total?
The game has 50 Steam achievements. This guide covers the ones with the highest unlock percentage.
What does the percentage next to an achievement on Steam mean?
It's the share of owners who have already unlocked it. The higher the percentage, the more ordinary the condition tends to be: high figures usually sit next to actions you'd do in a normal raid anyway.
Where can I check which achievements I already have?
Open the ARC Raiders page in your Steam library — there's an achievements block with your progress. The same list is also available on your Steam profile, under the achievements section.
Do the Steam descriptions explain how to actually complete the condition?
No. Steam only shows the developer's wording for the condition — the name of an action or a location. There are no step-by-step instructions, coordinates or tactical tips.
Why don't I have an achievement even though I think I met the condition?
Steam doesn't explain the reasons, and we're not going to guess them. The only thing you can check yourself is the exact wording of the condition on the stats page and your own progress in the library.
