Palworld’s furniture and decor sets are told apart by name alone: material (Wooden, Metal, Ironwood, Leather), style (Antique, Japanese-Style), purpose (Bathroom, Storage, Traffic Control), and the Faux label for artificial greenery — there are no “Mega/Giga/Hyper/Ultra” tiers and no pal names anywhere in these names.
Below is the full list of names from the official source, a breakdown of how to read each name, and a straight answer on unlock order.
Where this list comes from
The names come from the technologyids page of Pocketpair’s official documentation for the Palworld dedicated server. It’s a technical reference: every technology in it is matched to its internal identifier — for example, “Carpet Set” and FurnitureSet_17.
It’s worth being clear about what this kind of source does and doesn’t give you. It gives you nomenclature — exact official spellings of names and their IDs. It does not give recipes, materials, quantities, unlock tiers, weight, or any stats. So everything below is a breakdown of names, not a “what to craft first” guide.
The documentation itself is called “Palworld Server Guide” and has a version switcher; at the time this list was compiled, the current documentation version was 1.0.3.
Palworld is developed and published by the Japanese studio Pocketpair — its Steam store page lists it as both Developer and Publisher. So this is a primary source straight from the game’s own creators, not a fan-made resource.
If you’re after the dedicated server itself rather than furniture, there’s a separate guide on multiplayer and the server.
How to read a set name: four markers
The logic behind these names comes down to four things.
| Marker | What it tells you | Examples from the list |
|---|---|---|
| Material | What the items are made of | Wooden, Metal, Ironwood, Leather |
| Style | Which aesthetic it belongs to | Antique, Japanese-Style |
| Purpose | Where and why it’s used | Bathroom, Storage, Traffic Control, Amusement |
| Faux | Artificial decorative greenery | Faux Bamboo, Faux Cherry Blossoms |
The word Faux means “artificial” or “fake”. All these sets carry a FurnitureTree_* identifier — the game itself separates them from regular furniture at the internal-name level.
One more useful detail: the ID almost always starts with FurnitureSet_, and only two exceptions look different — FurnitureSet_Japanese (a word instead of a number) and the whole FurnitureTree_* group.
Wood and tavern pieces
Names that state the wood outright.
| Name | ID | What the name tells you |
|---|---|---|
| Wooden Living Room Furniture Set | FurnitureSet_1 | wooden living-room furniture |
| Wooden Tavern Cabinet Furniture Set | FurnitureSet_2 | wooden tavern-style cabinets |
| Wooden Tavern Furniture Set | FurnitureSet_3 | wooden tavern-style furniture |
| Ironwood Table Set | FurnitureSet_14 | tables made of “ironwood” |
Note the pair 2 and 3: they differ by a single word, Cabinet. The first is specifically about cabinets, the second about tavern furniture in general.
The Antique group: the largest family
This is the most consistent part of the list. The word Antique ties the sets to one visual style, and the second word tells you what’s actually in the set.
| Name | ID | What the name is about |
|---|---|---|
| Antique Mirror Set | FurnitureSet_16 | mirrors |
| Antique Couch Set | FurnitureSet_18 | couches |
| Antique Chair Set | FurnitureSet_19 | chairs |
| Antique Bath Set | FurnitureSet_20 | a bath |
| Antique Storage Set | FurnitureSet_21 | storage |
| Antique Storage Cabinet Set | FurnitureSet_22 | storage cabinets |
| Antique Desk Set | FurnitureSet_24 | desks |
| Antique Lamp Set | FurnitureSet_29 | lamps |
| Antique High Quality Furniture Set | FurnitureSet_32 | “high quality” furniture in the same style |
The same rule as with wood applies here: FurnitureSet_21 and FurnitureSet_22 differ only by the word Cabinet. And FurnitureSet_32 is the only one in the group carrying an evaluative label, High Quality. What exactly that means in-game, the documentation doesn’t explain, and we’re not guessing.
Metal, storage, and workspaces
| Name | ID | What the name is about |
|---|---|---|
| Metal Barrel Set | FurnitureSet_5 | metal barrels |
| Storage Container Set | FurnitureSet_6 | storage containers |
| Leather Chair Set | FurnitureSet_7 | leather chairs |
| Metal Chair and Desk Set | FurnitureSet_13 | a metal chair and desk |
| Metal Shelf Set | FurnitureSet_30 | metal shelves |
This is the most “utilitarian” part of the list, going by names alone. If you’re furnishing a storage or work area at your base, this is where to look; there’s a separate guide on base building.
Outdoors, signage, and barriers
| Name | ID | What the name is about |
|---|---|---|
| Emergency Exit Sign Set | FurnitureSet_8 | emergency exit signs |
| Barricade Set | FurnitureSet_10 | barricades |
| Traffic Control Set | FurnitureSet_11 | traffic-control items |
| Road Sign Set | FurnitureSet_12 | road signs |
| Street Lamp Set | FurnitureSet_27 | street lamps |
| Outdoor Furniture Set | FurnitureSet_31 | outdoor furniture |
Three similar-looking names here are easy to mix up. Tell them apart like this: Barricade is about blocking, Traffic Control is about directing movement, Road Sign is just signage. Different words, different purposes.
Everyday comfort and entertainment
| Name | ID | What the name is about |
|---|---|---|
| Wall-Mounted Houseplant Set | FurnitureSet_4 | wall-mounted houseplants |
| Houseplant Set | FurnitureSet_9 | houseplants |
| Piano Furniture Set | FurnitureSet_15 | a piano |
| Carpet Set | FurnitureSet_17 | carpets |
| Clock Set | FurnitureSet_23 | clocks |
| Bathroom Set | FurnitureSet_25 | a bathroom |
| Amusement Furniture Set | FurnitureSet_26 | amusement furniture |
| Fireplace Set | FurnitureSet_28 | fireplaces |
| Japanese-Style Furniture Set | FurnitureSet_Japanese | Japanese-style furniture |
The pair FurnitureSet_4 and FurnitureSet_9 is a good example of a name saving you time: Wall-Mounted means it hangs on a wall, so the first set does and the second doesn’t.
FurnitureSet_Japanese is the only set whose identifier spells out its style in words rather than a number.
Artificial greenery: the FurnitureTree group
All these sets carry the FurnitureTree_ prefix, and the name includes the word Faux. The second word tells you what kind of vegetation it is.
| Name | ID | Appearance |
|---|---|---|
| Faux Bamboo Set | FurnitureTree_Bamboo | bamboo |
| Faux Cherry Blossoms Set | FurnitureTree_Cherry | cherry blossom |
| Faux Desert Greenery Set | FurnitureTree_Desert | desert greenery |
| Faux Greenery Set | FurnitureTree_Green | plain greenery |
| Faux Crimson Foliage Set | FurnitureTree_Red | crimson foliage |
| Faux Snowy Greenery Set | FurnitureTree_Snow | snowy greenery |
| Faux Tropical Greenery Set | FurnitureTree_Tropical | tropical greenery |
| Faux Golden Foliage Set | FurnitureTree_Yellow | golden foliage |
The easiest way to remember them is by the colour in the ID: _Green, _Red, _Yellow, _Snow are literally the shade you’ll get.
What’s NOT in these names
Worth stating plainly, since expectations often carry over from other technology lists.
- No Mega, Giga, Hyper, or Ultra tiers. No furniture or decor set name carries these words. The hierarchy here isn’t “stronger/weaker” — it’s “different material / different style”.
- No cold-resistant or heat-resistant versions. No name in this list carries a temperature-resistance label. If you’re used to looking for those variants in other categories, that expectation doesn’t carry over to furniture.
- No pal names. No set is named after a specific pal.
- No stats. No defence, no weight, no crafting time, no price. The source simply doesn’t contain them, and we’re not inventing them.
Can you guess the unlock order from the ID number?
Short answer: no, and we’re not claiming you can.
The documentation only gives a “name — identifier” mapping. It contains no unlock tiers, requirements, cost, or sequence. So a claim like “FurnitureSet_1 unlocks before FurnitureSet_30” isn’t something we can make — it wouldn’t be backed by the source.
The one thing the numbers reliably show is the sort order of the documentation’s own table. Rows there follow the identifier as text, which is why FurnitureSet_10 sits next to FurnitureSet_1 instead of after FurnitureSet_9. That’s a quirk of string sorting, and it says nothing about the game.
You’ll see the actual unlock conditions in the game itself — there’s a guide on the general mechanic of technology and Ancient Technology Points, and on the basics at the start in first steps.
How to use this list in practice
- Work out what you’re furnishing. Living quarters — look at Wooden and Antique. Storage — Metal and Storage. Yard and roads — Barricade, Traffic Control, Road Sign, Street Lamp, Outdoor.
- Read the second word, not the first. Cabinet, Storage, Chair, Desk, Lamp — that’s what tells you what’s in the set. The first word only tells you style or material.
- Watch for Faux. If you need greenery for an interior, that’s the
FurnitureTree_*group, not regular furniture. - Don’t read in tiers that aren’t there. Seeing High Quality just means it’s part of the name
FurnitureSet_32, not a tier label. - For server work, use the ID, not the name. The identifier is the stable string in Pocketpair’s documentation.
Short version
Pocketpair’s official list gives exact names and identifiers for Palworld’s furniture and decor sets, and they’re told apart by material, style, purpose, and the Faux label. This source has no tiers, no stats, and no unlock order, so any such claim would be a guess, not a fact.
Frequently asked questions
Where does this list of furniture sets come from?
From the technologyids page of Pocketpair's official documentation for the Palworld dedicated server. Each technology there is matched to its internal identifier — which is why the list gives exact names rather than stats.
Do furniture sets have Mega, Giga, Hyper, or Ultra tiers?
No name in this official furniture and decor list contains those labels. Sets differ by material, style, and purpose — not by tier.
What does the word Faux mean in names like Faux Cherry Blossoms Set?
Faux means "artificial" or "fake". Every set with a FurnitureTree_* identifier is decorative greenery, grouped by appearance: bamboo, cherry blossom, desert, tropical, and snowy vegetation.
Can the number in FurnitureSet_1…FurnitureSet_32 tell you the unlock order?
No. The documentation only gives a "name — identifier" mapping. There are no unlock tiers, requirements, or sequence in it, so we can't claim the number matches in-game order.
Are there any pal-named items among the furniture sets?
Not in this list. No furniture or decor set name contains a pal's name.
Where do you actually need the identifiers themselves?
Wherever the game or server handles a technology as a string rather than a menu icon — for example, in dedicated server settings, which the same documentation covers.
